Pantograph

This is a single
pattern quilted
over the entire quilt from edge to edge. I
have a variety of patterns for you to choose from but cannot picture
them on
this site as they are copyrighted. This is the most economical quilting
option. The quilting
is over the entire quilt paying no attention to piecing or designs on
the quilt top.
These photos
are two examples - the first of " double rose vine" and the second of
"inside out". These are good examples of how different
pantograph designs work with different quilts. Additional photos
are linked here. As these designs are
created and sold by artists who hold copyrights on them, I am not
comfortable posting pictures of the designs to my website but will be
happy to provide specific suggestions and details if you inquire.
Many of the pantographs are posted to other sites and I will be happy
to discuss the possibility of using any design you find interesting.
Meandering
Quilting - starting at $18.00 per square
yard
This category includes overall
freehand meandering styles, such as stippling, ribbons, leaves, stars,
and hearts, which
add a nice finishing touch. This type of quilting adds
texture but does not alter the original design/emphasis of the
quilt. The quilting can be focused into areas so various thread
colors or designs can be combined in one quilt, but the entire surface
of the quilt is covered with meandering.
The first photo shows
stippling with a variegated thread which blends nicely with all the
wild colors in this particular quilt. The second photo is the
back of a quilt with an overall leaf design. Additional photos

Hand Guided
Quilting -
starting at $26.00 per square yard
This category
includes overall
freehand meandering styles, such as ribbons, leaves, stars, and hearts,
which
add a nice finishing touch. This quilting will be placed around
the design
of the quilt top and you will be able to use different colored threads
over
areas of the quilt to provide a more coordinated appearance.
The first photo is a flame
meander around an appliqué (it is considered custom quilting to
outline the appliqué before stitching around it). The
second photo shows
light ruler work on part of the quilt in addition to controlled paisley

Custom Quilting
-
starting at $36.00 per square yard
This type of
quilting also includes
cross-hatching, outlining,
stitching in the ditch and placing motifs in specific areas. I also
have many patterns by quilting designers that are considered
custom quilting which can be used as borders or motifs in specific
areas. There is an additional charge for very close or detailed
quilting. Custom work can vary in
price depending on the degree of difficulty.

and might give some idea of the variety available.
