Professional Quilting Service
The quilt top is the character of a quilt and the quilting adds the spirit
We quilters all know the dilemma -- too many quilt tops and not enough time, experience, or desire to master the quilting process. Or maybe you’ve purchased or inherited a quilt top you’d like to have finished. I believe all tops deserve to be quilted and enjoyed and my service could be the solution to finishing your UFOs.
I offer professional hand-guided machine quilting services tailored to your needs. Whether you prefer your top be basted to quilt yourself, quilted with an all-over pantograph pattern, custom quilted, or quilted with interpretive quilting suitable for a show quilt, I would like to be of assistance. My goal is to work with each customer so that your completed quilt is a reflection of the work, time, and love you've put into it, with quilting that satisfies your image of the quilt. Everyone has different preferences in regards to quilting and it is my desire to finish your quilt as you'd like it to be done.
I am an experienced, active quilter, committed to helping you find the design that will best suit your creation and your personal requirements. I quilt in a non-smoking environment with no indoor pets to provide maximum protection for your quilt. Please check out the links below for more information and contact me for a free consultation to discuss your quilting needs.
I am an active member of the New Braunfels Area Quilt Guild, the Austin Area Quilt Guild, Fiber Artists of San Antonio, International Machine Quilters Association, International Quilt Association, and recently the Contemporary Fiber Artists of Louisiana and the Gulf States Quilt Association, and enjoy all phases of quilt making as well as quilt art.
I have worked up some instructional materials that will hopefully be of use to you. Feel free to print them but I ask that you credit this site if they are distributed in any way.
In 2002 the Alamo Heritage Quilt Guild coordinated a round robin exchange. I participated in the first group and am now the proud owner of the incredibly bright cat quilt! This June there will be more examples of round robins created by a group from the New Braunfels Area Quilt Guild.
